Save Bristol Bay, Please

Please RSVP and show your support, this dang mine has got to go.  In the words of slick, scammin’ jammin, Scotty Palmer of Hardbodies fame:  “I’m gonna be there; these are my friends, they’re gonna be there.  You should come too.”  Of course he also tricked that poor girl into thinking that there would be modeling agent at the party and hired Vixen as the house band.  Too cool.  None of that will be happening but it will still be fun, come on down to Ballard October 17th!

    On a side note, the 1984 film Hardbodies is a great source for naming new steelhead flies. Check out the names from the movie that double as fly names:

    Scotty Palmer
    Vixen
    Ragger
    Ashby
    Hardbody Spectacular
    Rounder
    B.B.D (Bigger Better Deal)
    Kimber Cobb

    Please let me know some more steelhead fly names stemming from 80′s or 90′s movies, or ones that I missed from Hardbodies. For instance, “Dexter Rutecki” or “Bryce Kellog” are great steelhead fly names. This is a whole other post, which should now be coming every Tuesday if I get my shorts straight here.
