The following is our list of hosted travel destinations in which someone from our staff will be accompanying the group in the next 2 years. Trips are added frequently so check back often. If you would like to see us host a trip somewhere, let us know, we can arrange trips anywhere. Please feel free to inquire with us about any of these or other trips we may offer.

Our consultation on fly fishing destinations will cost you nothing more than if you were to book directly with the lodge or outfitter.

Guanaja, Honduras -- Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon photos
One of the newest and least heard of lodge operations on the Caribbean, Fly Fish Guanaja is owned and operated by long time friend and guide Steve Brown from Telluride, Colorado.

While Honduras isn't new, this place is WAY out of the way, on a beautiful little flat with its own "fish bowl" flat if you will right out the front door where tailing bones and permit are resident all the time.

As with most of our other chosen destinations, this lodge accomodates only 4 clients at a time so it is very small, providing a very unique and personal experience. President Jimmy Carter just spent a week here and was impressed enough to write an article about Steve and the lodge for Fly Fisherman Magazine.

Almost gone so be in touch soon if you want to go with me!

Christmas Island -- Bonefish and Trevally
One of the most iconic places on the planet to pursue bonefish is alive and well with bones, triggers, sweet lips and of course GT's like few places in the world can really offer.

We utilize Christmas Island Outfitters as the guides are fantastic and the program to fish how and where you really want from day to day is wide open leaving the weeks itinerary in our hands. We also enjoy the smaller group sizes here at 8 maximum keeping the after fishing atmosphere personal and intimate.

Oregon Tuna -- Albacore
Haven't scratched this itch in awhile or just now beginning to notice it come around on you? Either way, we have finally found a dedicated fly boat with a great captain.

This is 12-14wt rod country and for those with arms that are in casting shape. Heavy head, challenging conditions and big flies make this a not so everyday fly fishing experience. Balance on deck in the open ocean while while trying to huck a broomstick 70ft with a 500-700 grain head! Yee Haw! It isn't easy but once hooked up to one of these torpedos, it is all worth it.

We will be doing this mostly out of the greater Astoria area but it will move around based on tournaments the boat is participating in. Boat is 42ft Dorado Bluewater captained by Jad Donaldson.
Dates are as follows:

August 27th, 2013
6 rods open
September 9th, 2013
6 rods open
Price: $450 per angler
Includes:
Fuel, processing, bait, flies, gear (possibly transportation down from Seattle)

Alpine Lake/Creek Overnight Hike Trip - Native Trout
In many ways fly-fishermen are programed to be creatures of habit.  Cast, mend, drift, step;10 o'clock......2 o'clock; fly boxes packed with elk hair caddis, adams, and pheasant tails because they've worked for decades.  Unfortunately this can also spill over into the waters we fish.  We flock to 4 or 5 of the major rivers in Western Washington because we know where the fish are, all the while forgetting that one of the best parts of living here is that you could fish a different small river, creek, or lake each week of the summer and not repeat for a long, long time.  We're talking about those small blue lines on your atlas that you've always wondered if they held fish.  Most of them do with amazing numbers because they're followed by a hiking trail instead of a road, their waters flow straight from snow melt without any dams or sources of pollutants, and the number of anglers that the fish see are greatly reduced because of the effort required to get to them.

Join us on an overnight camping trip this summer where we will explore some of the most pristine creeks, small rivers, and alpine lakes that the state has to offer.  These trips are designed for those anglers not afraid to put 6-8 miles between themselves and their cars, and that place more emphasis on the solitude and beauty of the sport than quantity of fish caught.  It is our belief that when you encounter a creek, a native forest, and a seemingly hand-painted fish as wild as these, all concerns about numbers and sizes and luxuries will quickly fade.Dates are as follows:
August 6th - 7th, 2013 --
4 Spaces Open
Price: $600 per angler
Includes:
Food, flies, rods/reels, tents and pads. Backpacks can be provided if needed.
4 anglers maximum

Grande Ronde River, OR -- Steelhead photos
This year we have chosen to go freeze our butts off and host a trip down the Oregon side of the Grande Ronde for the wiley upper Columbia River strain of steelhead. This is a gorgeous stretch of unaccessible water except by boat during a time of year that can wield steelhead taken on swung dry flies.

As per our norm, this is a small group, 6 anglers maximum with an all star cast of guides including Marty Sheppard, Ted Neely and Dave McCoy. These will fill quickly so if you have interest, please contact us right now.
Dates are as follows:
October 20th - 23rd, 2013 --
4 spaces open
Price: $2000 total per angler, double occupancy
Includes: Guiding, any and all flies, leaders and tippet as well as any gear needed or desired for the trip, all meals while on water and non alcoholic beverages.
4 anglers maximum
Hosted by Lucas St. Clair

John Day River, OR -- Steelhead photos
We have now been doing this for over 5 years and after each year ends, we can barely wait until next season. The JD is one of the most amazing steelhead rivers in the lower 48 with numbers of fish entering the streams ranging from 5000 to over 20,000 depending on the year.

We have private water access spread between 3 different locations. One is a float to a private boat launch which makes a 18 mile stretch only about 7 miles with more water than you can fish in a day. The other two private access points are on a 50,000 plus acre ranch with access at both ends of it. This is a walk and wade trip with very easy wading and beautiful scenery. The roads into the ranch make for quite an adventure and at times are not passable due to moisture on the ground.

This is the ideal location for the seasoned spey veteran or a novice angler wishing to give spey casting a try. All guides are accomplished spey casters as well as instructors, insuring the best steelhead and spey education possible.

Come fish this soon to be legendary steelhead river with us. This always books solid early so book now.
