Klickitat River, Washington

We are going to be working with a long time guide on the Klick, Pete Gadd, to offer some great fly fishing adventures on the upper stretches of the river. This is a much more difficult stretch to float with the more turbulent waters and challenging rowing, keeping most anglers on the lower reaches, especially in lower water.
The Klick is located in south-central Washinton where it enters the Columbia at the town of Lyle. From here, it is paralleled by the main access road, SR 142.
If you would like to take a shot at a 15 pound or larger steelhead, on a swung fly, in small, intimate water, then this is your trip. We do not nymph for steelhead here or on any of our other steelhead trips, it just isn't necessary. Besides, once you have felt the pull on a greased line, you never go back!
