Recycled Waders Project:
Celebrity Autograph Campaign
Initiated October 2008

The mission of Recycled Waders is to give back to the angling community through our products with the message that watersheds & fisheries are angler's responsibilities to cultivate and care for and we cannot stand idly by and watch them disappear.
Recycled Waders products represent a small but significant idea about environmental stewardship & responsibility. Tens of thousands of anglers each year discard old waders and purchase new ones with the hope of staying dry or wearing the latest and greatest. Either way, discarded waders end up in landfills around the country and the world. Even though these landfills might be far from our favorite watersheds, the wader material anglers deposit becomes a distant memory and they do not degrade.
Recycled Waders has designed a line of products that incorporate discarded waders and an angler's ingenuity with the sole purpose of reducing the volume of wader material collecting in our environmental waste stations.
Recycled Waders along with Emerald Water Anglers, recognize the seriousness surrounding the plight of the Pacific Northwest Steelhead populations and want to help do something about it.
RW & EWA want to assist organizations with ideals of preservation and restoration to generate buzz on a more national or international level on the subject of these fish in our waters with the intent to educate and inspire others to become more involved and how they can do so.
Our passion for these fish is infectious and it shows in the caliber of people who pursue them both as a profession and as recreation. We have initiated a unique campaign of gathering waders from fly fishing, steelheading and pop culture celebrities and turning them into desirable, repurposed items for everyday and angling use.
Each pair of waders will be autographed by the celebrity and repurposed into Recycled Waders products and used exclusively for fundraising efforts. These limited edition items we believe can be a multi faceted way be greener in an already green heavy industry while simultaneously making a difference for these fish and exciting a new generation of anglers to become involved and not give up by saying, “Look at these anglers who haven’t!”
One hundred percent (100%) of all funds raised above production costs will go directly to a steelhead or other conservation & restoration directive agreed upon in advance either individually with the person donating or on behalf of specific events. Any future products with donor signatures will be accepted and held for future use in similar fundraising events. If this should occur, we will notify donor of the cause with the understanding that they may opt to not have their product used for that purpose.
Below you will find a list of those who have donated product and who are also helping to spread the word on behalf of this effort. Please recognize these individuals, companies and organizations efforts.
