There are few places left on the planet that fly anglers have not really explored in search of exotic species. This is one of the newest and greatest to hit the radar. While Golden Dorado have been a focal point for sometime, it has mostly been in the marshes of the Ibera or tailwater fisheries. Tsimane Lodge is set deep in the Bolivian jungle near the headwaters of one of the many Amazonian tributaries.
Sight casting in small water to these brutes in freestone streams, transportation is via the native peoples carved out kayaks and maximum group size is 4 anglers at this time.
Time is split during each week between two different lodges and while rustic are well appointed and staffed with courteous and professional guides from around the world.
