While the Forks region of the Olympic Peninsula garners the bulk of the attention for its large native steelhead, the southern portion of it is home to some sleeper rivers known mostly to locals…and for good reason.
Amongst these rivers is the Satsop River which begins as twin river that join to form one of the most prolific wild steelhead rivers on the lower O.P.
Nice runs give swing anglers ample water to test their skills with the two handed rod, allowing their fly to pass over some of the nicest looking water the state of Washington has to offer.
Fish range in size from 8 to the mid teens and while there is a hatchery run of fish here as well, we prefer to utilize this watershed as a wild fish fishery.
