Some of our devoted readers may be aware that I switched jobs and am no longer managing the fly fishing department at Outdoor Emporium in Seattle. For those that didn't, well I'm not there anymore. Now you can come listen to my lies and BS out here in Issaquah at Creekside Angling Company, where I will be taking over for Brett who is also moving on to chase trout, steelhead and stripers in sunny California. Brett will be missed, but I hope to bring some new energy and enthusiasm to Creekside.
Coming up next weekend we have an event I'd like to make everyone aware of:
On Friday Sept. 9th @ 6:30pm Creekside Issaquah will be hosting a Pebble Mine night, anti Pebble Mine that is. Dwayne Meadows, the National Coordinator for the Trout Unlimited Save Bristol Bay Project will be here to screen the short film Red Gold and answer questions and provide info and help you get involved in the campaign to stop the mine. There might be beer and a raffle at the event that night but you'll have to show up to find out.
