Here we go people!  We couldn't be more excited to welcome our long time great friend Riverhorse Nakadate to the store for the launch of his long awaited new book, Water Lines.  One of the most enigmatic and emotive readers we have ever witnessed, this will be another of those "don't miss" events here at the store.

Location | 10th - EWA Store - Travis will do a two hand rod presentation in the store beginning at 6:30pm and this is FREE to everyone who can make it.
Location | 11th - 9am - 4pm - Spey School on the Snoqualmie River - 6 Anglers Max.  How about some 1 on 1 time with one of the greatest spey casters in the world?  Sounds pretty good to us so please join!  Great opportunity to refine your casting with the equipment you have or find out how to tweak what you have to work better for you.

Long time friend Nick Watson, founder of Veteran's Expeditions will be here to talk about what his NGO does for veteran's, getting them outdoors and how to get involved.  

August 1 & 2, 2026 | Simon Gawesworth Spey School | $350
Location | Fall City Bridge on the Snoqualmie River | 9am - 4pm
It is among our favorite things to do here at EWA, bring in those in our sport that have shaped it into what it is today.  Simon is among those who brought spey casting into the modern era here in the US and we couldn't be more excited to spend a couple days with him.  Each day is a separate school with 8 people maximum in each, sign up for one or both.  Lunch provided and we are happy to provide equipment for those who may not have any...yet!


December 12 & 13, 2026 | Dec Hogan Spey School | $375
Location | Snoqualmie River at Fall City Bridge | 9am - 3pm
This is one you are not going to want to miss.  It is one thing to come have a small group class with Dec, it is quite another to talk in depth on fly selection, sink tips and presentation that will disrupt so much of what the rest of the sport is generally talking about.  Well here it is!  Each day is a separate class with a maximum of 6, sign up for one or both, up to you.

June 6, 2027 | NRS Boat & Safety Demo | 9am - 4pm | FREE
Location | Luther Burbank Park
This is what we have been trying to do for years.  A boat festival where we can talk you through boat size, application, frame options, safety and of course pricing.  NRS will be on hand to present a variety of boat options for consideration and answer questions.



June 29-30, 2027 | Blane Chocklett Muskie School | $1495
Location | Lake Mayfield | 8am - 6pm
4 Rods Open
Probably one of the if not the most legendary Muskie anglers in our space, Blane will spend the two days going over all things Muskie for you to absorb as much as you possibly can.  Here is what to expect from the weekend.

- Thursday the 27th meet and greet at the store from 6pm to 8pm. 

Day 1 | Arrive at campground on Lake Mayfield, settle in 9am
- What makes a good Muskie rod with Blane 
- Casting big flies
- Fly presentation and tactics
- Lunch
- On water, chasing Muskie, Blane will hop around to different boats
- Dinner and fly tying with Blane
Day 2 | Breakfast and pack up
- In boats and on water chasing Muskie for the day
- Lunch, switch boats with Blane
- Finish day of fishing by 4pm
- Good bye's, photos and thank you's!
