One of our favorite fly rod travel concepts for travel.  We travel extensively and use this piece on every trip.  Whether just throwing a couple rods in the car for a local trip, holding spare rods safely and quietly in the boat or heading to the Seychelles, this has become invaluable. 

When used with the 100L Black Hole, either rolling or standard duffel, this piece for single hand rods fits perfectly lengthwise along one side of the bottom of the duffel providing stability within the bag and safety for the rods during travel. 

Also, while it has sleeve slots for 4 rods, we regularly put up to 8 rods in side, simply alternating butt ends of rods while in their socks in the middle of the rods already in sleeves and rolling tight, securing with the clip straps.
