Its taper efficiently delivers a monofilament leader and traditional wet or dry fly cleanly at moderate to extended distances. The Mainstem features powerful turnover and excellent distance potential for any time that target is just a little (or a lot) further out than usual. Recommended for rod lengths 13 ft 6" and longer for best performance and ease of use.
