This is our take on an entry level kit. We have added the Lamson Liquid, a saltwater safe reel with a sealed drag capable of taking bumps and bruises better than the polycarbonate reels in most kits.  By swapping most kit lines for the Scientific Anglers MPX line you have a premium line capable of any situation that will also help load the rod better for a novice angler.  Spooled to right or left hand retrieve, ready to go for years of enjoyment.
