Spey casting is a skill every fly angler should learn as it can be an invaluable tool in your quiver for unforeseen conditions or to be employed as designed with longer rods.  Originated in Europe a century or two ago, spey or two handed casting is popular today here in the PNW on our larger steelhead and salmon rivers as well as on our trout rivers.  Novice to advanced spey casters welcome.
