Fly fishing Alaska is one of any fly anglers top priorities no matter where they live or come from, it is a must do. We have partnered with the following lodges to offer the experiences we would want to enjoy while fly fishing Alaska. Obviously there are many lodge choices and ours are not always going to match with those of others so here is why we work with these in particular.
We believe in owner operated lodges where we have a close personal relationship and know they personally take the quality of your trip personally. Some of these locations such as Alaska West provide a very unique fly angling experience, in their case two handed/spey casting for king salmon much the same way we as a company choose to pursue steelhead. You leave the week a better angler and the guides are passionate about spey casting and in helping you master this technique and expand your skill set for life.
Intricate Bay Lodge offers small, personal service through the entire week, catering to exactly what you want to do each and every day. The owner is also your host and spends the time getting to know you to the point of being friends by the end of the week. This tends to leave a very lasting impression with clients helping to create those life long memories that were intended by coming to Alaska.
Wild River Guides was established and has been run by close friend Mark Rutherford for over 20 years. His experience in Alaska is showing you what many think “once was” by offering very small upper tributary fly-in trips to experience Alaska void of planes, jet boats and other anglers, just you and the wilderness. Mark is on every trip with you and spares no expense to show you exactly what you came to him for.
